Houseboys
One of my students wrote a story today, and in it he kept refering to himself and his friends as “houseboys.” It didn’t seem integral to the story, but I had to know what a houseboy was. I need to be down with whatever’s hip, no?
“Shaquan, what’s a houseboy?” I asked pointing to the word.
“That says homeboy!” he answered.
Obviously.
