My Interview
I just sat through a 2 hour seminar on interviewing to become a teacher. Most of the questions they will ask are ridiculous canned nonsense that you can rehearse as often as you’d like, but you’d still sweat balls when you’re in sitting in that room with 5 or 6 strangers asking you fairly personal questions. Hey - did I use “sweat balls” right?
Anyway, during the seminar I jotted down in my notebook a list of interview questions I’d like to be asked. Feel free to comment with your responses.
1) Describe yourself in 3 adverbs.
2) What is your least favorite endangered species and how?
3) If you could dance with one Vice President who would it be and why?
4) Chew on this — rubber.
5) Who would win in a fight - an octopus or an eagle? The fight takes place equal parts on land, water and air. The octopus starts in the water, the eagle starts in the air. Draw the aftermath.
6) When the mighty baboon reaches the bananas at the top of the mango tree, it is time. What time is it?
By the way, you’re interviewing to be a fireman, doctor, teacher, magician, or whatever the hell you want… if that helps you answer any of the questions more clearly. I look forward to your responses and hope I find the right candidates for the job!
